The Sons of Hercules tackle a Nomads track for the A-side of this 45. Their spin on it owes much more to their garage roots than surf, but then the Nomads weren’t exactly known to be a surf band either. “Outta Your Head,” a mid-tempo original, takes a different approach using differing dynamics to build from the verse to the chorus. By the end of the song, you’ll be singing the refrain along with them.
