At long-last, Youngstown, Ohio’s legendary ’70s Power Pop band Blue Ash are reuniting for a tour of Spain. But before they ride off into the sunrise, Blue Ash and co. are making a special appearance on the Get Hip Recordings sound stage!
On Saturday, May 14, Blue Ash founding members Frank Secich (Stiv Bators, Club Wow) and Jim Kendzor will rock Get Hip HQ with an electrifying, full-band performance of Blue Ash favorites, with featured backing by Frank’s incredible new band, Deadbeat Poets, also featuring Pete Drivere (Infidels, Dead Boys).
Pittsburgh’s best, young Garage-Punks, Nox Boys, will be on-hand to help kick out the jams, and Deadbeat Poets will jump-start the evening with a their own set of East Ohio Power Pop! Get Hip’s Gregg Kostelich will serve as special guest DJ before and between each set, keeping the party going with a crate-ful of classic platters.
