We’re excited to announce that two of our most anticipated new releases are now available for purchase at the Get Hip Webstore!
First up: The Maggie’s Marshmallows‘ eponymous debut long-player. While the album was released digitally on September 30, the audiophile-friendly vinyl edition is finally here and ready to find its new home permanently affixed to your turntable. (Trust us, it was worth the wait. This platter sounds better than ever!)
The Maggie’s Marshmallows is available on limited edition cream color vinyl (300 copies) and even more limited edition classic black wax (200 copies). Never fear, tech-heads: all copies of the album come with a download coupon.
Next, we’ve got a special edition 7-inch single from our reissue-intensive Archive Series sublabel. Youngstown, Ohio’s Power-Pop phenoms Blue Ash have made a bit of a comeback this year. In honor of their resurgence, we’ve coupled “Abracadabra (Have You Seen Her?),” the outstanding first track from the band’s 1973 album No More, No Less, with an unreleased “live studio” cover of Chan Romero’s “Hippy Hippy Shake.”
This essential 45 is available exclusively on black wax (450 copies) and includes a full-color sleeve featuring liner notes by original Blue Ash bassist Frank Secich.
