We’re excited to announce two brand new 7″ slabs of sizzling Garage Rock, heading your way on March 17th:
First up is a double-helping of diesel-fueled instrumental R’n’R, courtesy of legendary fuzz-rockers Davie Allan & The Arrows and our inimitable neighbors to the north, Toronto’s Pow Wows! (As if two sides of road-ready Garage Rock weren’t enough, Jim Diamond and alt-artist extraordinaire Olaf Jens add top-notch production and scintillating sleeve art to this already un-missable split.) In the words of Mel from The Phantom Surfers: “Buy this record…OR ELSE!”
Next is the U.S. debut single from France’s wildest, most esoteric Garage-Pysch trio, Weird Omen. Fresh off their sophomore album Breakfast Before Chaos (2016), WO return with two new tracks thick with steamy sax riffs and foreboding melodies, recorded live in-studio at Wattsville/Wattshouse in Perpignan. Don’t miss it!
Both singles are pressed on classic black wax, limited to 500 copies each. Physical copies will ship on or before Friday, March 17. Digital copies will be available via iTunes.
