Celebrate Pittsburgh Punk History At Get Hip!

Join us at Get Hip Records on Saturday, March 8 at 6:30pm for an evening of local music history with the official record release party for The Puke // This Kind of Experience, Live 1978/1979.

Pronounced the bad boys of the Pittsburgh Punk Scene, The Puke, formed in 1978, was one of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania’s First Wave Punk Bands. Minimal, raw in the extreme, and darkly humorous, they were banned from playing nearly as often as they performed. The Puke consisted of Bill Bored playing the bass drum, Pat D. Hearse on guitar and vocals, and Barney Scum on guitar and vocals.

The release party will honor the life of Bill Bored and feature live performances by:

  • Pat D. Hearse, The Puke
  • Bill Bored, The Puke
  • Michael Boatboy, The Cynics
  • Sam Matthews, The Sicks, The Whereabouts
