 Time Bomb Records is an independent record label based in Osaka, Japan. Originally founded as a record shop in the America-mura neighborhood in 1990, they hit the ground running, expanding their space and founding the record label only a year later. Since then, they’ve relocated to the Yotsubashi neighborhood and made a name for themselves as the premier label for Kansai’s underground scene, releasing groundbreaking punk, rockabilly, and garage music by some of Japan’s most talented independent artists–most notably The 5,6,7,8’s, a 1960s garage-inspired rock band whose songs have featured in commercials and soundtracks in the US and other places around the world.
