THE BROOD “I NEED YOU THERE”

GH-107
7" Single / Digital
July 1988

Description:

An early 45 from the queens of garage! The Brood present their own moody, fuzzed-out interpretation of two boss ‘60s garage punkers: “I Need You There” by The Chessmen and a non-album exclusive (U.S.) cover of The Prodigal’s “You Got Me.” This double-hitter is a precursor to their 1988 debut album In Spite of It All.

The version of the “I Need You There” single available from the Get Hip Webstore is a second pressing from October 1990. Limited to 200 copies, it features colored “Capitol Swirl” mock center labels.
