Specializing in the early ’70s proto-punk sounds of the Stooges and New York Dolls, Dallas, Texas quintet the Mullens pack quite a punch!

On their fourth full-length release for Get Hip, the Mullens have fully mastered the happy mix of ’77 punk-rock and ’60s garage to create a sound all their own–but that’s not news to longtime fans who have fancied their anthemic, riff-rippin’ and foot stompin’ brand of garage rock since their first album way back in ’97.

Loyal fans and newcomers will be pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of songs on this new album. Expanding on their original lineup, the Mullens have added a second guitar player to help beef up both jangly, Byrds-ian garage stompers like the beautiful “Esmerelda” and drivin’ punk rockers like the title track and more!
