This 45 pairs ex-Radio Birdman Deniz Tek with the Stump Wizards in a collaborative effort recorded in Pennsylvania. The result is two songs that while firmly rooted in the garage, also have that extra something that makes them stand-out. “Black Tulip,” a Tek original, has a cool twin-guitar middle section that gives this song that different flavor. The flip, “Gotta Say No,” co-written by Tek and the Wizards is a straight-ahead garage number with that extra something driving it on.
